James Cohen CEO and co-founder, Nevvon

In under three years, James Cohen has built his latest venture, Nevvon, to become one of the largest e-health training platforms in New York state. A 20-year health care industry veteran, Cohen created Nevvon to improve quality of life and preserve dignity for vulnerable patients by delivering e-training solutions for caregivers.  Recently, Nevvon jointly won a request-for-proposal to train all unionized health care workers in New York. Its clients include two of the largest home health care agencies in the United States. Previously, Cohen owned a retirement home and dementia-consulting business. As a volunteer, Cohen has created training partnerships with the National Minority Health Association. He was named Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield’s “2020 Empire Whole Health Hero.”
