We Started Where You Are
Before Nevvon existed, we owned and operated a home care agency with thousands of caregivers on our roster.
We know what it feels like to chase down training records the morning an auditor arrives. We know the cost of pulling caregivers off the floor for mandatory in-service days that nobody wants to attend. We know how painful it is to manage compliance across multiple states using spreadsheets and paper binders.
We built Nevvon because we lived those problems every day. Not because we saw a market opportunity from the outside, but because we needed a solution and nothing on the market was good enough.
How Nevvon Started
We Saw the Problem Up Close
Every year, home care agencies spend thousands of hours and real budget ensuring their caregivers meet strict state training requirements. The challenge is compounded by workforce instability. According to the Home Care Pulse 2024 Benchmarking Report, annual caregiver turnover in home care averages 65% nationally. Orientation hours, annual in-service hours, specialty topics, continuing education. All of it needs to be tracked, documented, and ready for audit, often for a workforce that turns over before the year is out.
We experienced that challenge firsthand. Managing certification and continued education for every caregiver was expensive, time-consuming, and frustrating for everyone involved.
We Built What the Industry Needed
When we realized that every home care agency in the country faced the same problem, we stopped looking for a solution and started building one.
We focused on three things from day one. First, high-quality, evidence-based training content reviewed by clinical experts. Second, an engaging mobile-first experience that caregivers would actually complete. Third, a platform that integrates directly into the agency management systems providers already rely on.
